some pictures

*The monument at the entrance to the Parque Periurbano. If I'm not mistaken the inscription says something about "This is a State Forest" and that it is a "Great glory to god that this park was able to be established by the man of the state Francisco Franco Dahamonde" I find it really interesting that someone has taken pink spray paint to Franco's name and then another person came along and outlined his name with black sharpie.....
*A beautiful moment with the sun behind the coulds on a rainy day that wasn't so wonderful for walking
*A walk next to the Alahmbra
*A table of bags full of every spice and herb imaginable on sale next to the Catedral

Hey Jason

My first comment on your varied and sundrie travels! Intriguing signage at the National Forest. I think Bahamonde is the Generalisimo's final name. Interesting that two someones saw the demons and the virtues of Franco. The U.S. government of the time would have filled in with the Sharpie simply because he was anti-communist. Other pieces of the tyrant were overlooked. The more things change... Hey, continue to have an awesome time!
